If your a proud new Crackberry owner here are some helpful hints on how to help it reach it’s maximum potential.
- Twitterberry-I totally admit to being a Twitteraholic. Heck, even the BBGeeks site itself is on Twitter. So when I found TwitterBerry, you better believe the first thing I did was download and install it. Below you’ll find an overview/guide of the new Twitter application for the BlackBerry which was made by Orangatame Software. (via bbgeeks)
- Google Sync-Synchronization is probably the most requested feature for Google Calendar and Google has finally done something about it. It’s not quite what you would’ve expected, but it’s still a promising start. Google Sync is an application that lets you synchronize your Blackberry’s calendar with Google Calendar. - Opera Mini-Opera Mini 4 works similarly to the iPhone browser in as much as it displays a complete overview of a full Web page and then lets you zoom in and out with relative ease. Switching to landscape mode is also very straightforward, allowing you to use the full length of your phone’s screen. (via crave)
- Yahoo Go!-I haven’t had the chance to give Yahoo! Go 3.0 Beta the full once over on my Verizon 8130. Lets just hope that it isn’t as slow and buggy as it was on various other BlackBerry devices that I’ve tried it on. (via rimarkable)
- Olive Tree Bible Reader-Read and search the Mobile Bible on your Palm, Pocket PC, Smartphone, BlackBerry, iPhone, and Symbian cell phone or PDA from Olive Tree Bible Software.
- Google Maps-"This version of Google Maps for mobile even has a few tricks not yet available on the desktop version of Google Maps. For instance, you can find the last transit trips of the day (to figure out how late you can stay at the party) and more easily browse through earlier or later trips," suggests Google Mobile blog. - Berry Bloglines-by Phil Bogle, is a free, open source RSS Reader optimized for reading news feeds and blogs (via your Bloglines account) on the Blackberry. (via bbtips)
- Facebook for Blackberry-Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
- Viigo-by Virtual Reach, is an application that gives you instant access to Breaking News, Sports, Entertainment, Weather, Markets, Blogs, or any RSS Feed you want, at the touch of a button. Always live, always on, always available. There is also a BBCool version. (via bbtips)
- xTemplate-Use e-mail templates to send messages that include the repeated information. Send informative responses faster than typing them in a usual way with your BlackBerry keyboard. Create a variety of templates for each and every case of your business life. (via x berry)
