Effective leaders can pull back and look at the big picture and look at everyones performances is a disinterested or un-self centered fashion. Real leaders understand cause and effect, or in other words they understand there is a reason why this negative result happened. You can’t have a jacked up process and expect positive results. The Colts loss the BIG GAME even though the had the better team, because they couldn’t adjust to the pressing needs of the situation. They loss because even though they had the most talent and skill, they also had a self centered leader who couldn’t make the necessary adjustments to help his team win the BIG GAME. He couldn’t take himself out way to see the big picture…
